Private Moscow 2 Day Tour covers a bit more than just must-see places. We’ve put together a smart itinerary that gives you the most for your money.
Order of days may switch due to Kremlin closed days. Kremlin is closed on Thursdays, during Presidential ceremonies, and some national holidays.
On Day 1 we’ll meet you at your hotel and make our way to Red Square. We’ll spend this day on foot, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and proper clothes. We will see the famous Saint Basil Cathedral, GUM department store, Lenin Mausoleum (closed Mon and Fri), Alexander Garden with Eternal Flame, Bolshoi Theatre, a few most beautiful metro stations, and more.
We’ll do a quick lunch break around 12:30pm – 1:30pm. Tour price does not include meal expenses. Guide can recommend a restaurant for any budget and cusine.
In the afternoon, we will explore Kremlin Grounds inside and tour Armoury Museum. Please note: no alcohol, pocket knives, and large backpacks are allowed inside. Passport is not required.
At 5pm we will return back to hotel.
On Day 2 we’ll meet you at your hotel with a driver. During the city tour, you will have a chance to visit inside main Cathedral of Russia. To go inside, women must wear scarfs/hats, cover shoulders, wear shorts/skirts below knee level. Man in shorts will not be allowed.
City sightseeing by car includes several photo stops with short walking tours. We will explore Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Peter the Great Monument, UNESCO site New Maiden’s Convent, Sparrow Hills where you will have a great panoramic view of the city, Moscow State University, Stalin’s Sky Scrapers, Victory Park and main city streets.
Lunch break will be around 1pm – 2pm. Tour price does not include meal expenses.
In the afternoon, you can choose to visit the Tretyakov Art Gallery or take a 1-hour river cruise. Please note: river cruise will go by the some of the same places that you see on the city tour.
At 5pm we will return back to hotel.

HOW TO PAY FOR THE TOUR?
You only need to pay 50% as a deposit after preliminary tour confirmation. The deposit can be made via Credit Card Authorization Form on the Payment page. The other 50% are paid to your guide on the day of the tour.
WHERE WILL I MEET MY GUIDE?
Your guide will be waiting in the lobby of your hotel with your name board or an orange Explorus Travel sign.
Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and Crowne Plaza do not allow holding up signs. The guide will be waiting by the reception desk.
